ARCHDIOCESE OF KEEWATIN-LE PAS
Seeking to fill the full-time position of Financial Administrator (CFO) of the Archdiocese of Keewatin-Le Pas. Reports directly to the Archbishop of the Archdiocese.
Responsible for: The financial affairs of the Archdiocese: including but not limited to: the financial accounting system of the archdiocese, preparing for audit all financial documentation and year end reporting, day to day running of the diocesan office: personnel (HR), payroll, staff benefits, accounts payables and receivables, month end documentation and financial reports, cash flow, bank reconciliations, grant applications, tax issues, investments and amortization, diocesan fleet of vehicles, buildings and properties, insurances and claims, legal issues, Archdiocesan property (temporal goods) and financial meetings. As well, oversees the financials of the parishes within the archdiocese.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance or Business Administration, or CPA. An equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of the Roman Catholic faith and values an asset.
Administration and financial accounting experience, along with a knowledge of an accounting system, excel, word and outlook. Good leadership and team skills.
Requires an attitude of honesty and service.
